Our version of
Neuromuscular Therapy uniquely blends physical,
occupational, and massage therapies to relieve pain, improve
biomechanics, and restore prior functional activities.
We believe by first reducing the level of pain in the
body, patients achieve better results during the
strengthening phase of their treatment programs.
Many neurologists, orthopedic specialists, rheumatologists,
chiropractors, general practice, and pain management
physicians support this concept of neuromuscular therapy for
pain relief because it mimics the favoring action of a beta
blocking drug without the associated risk of side effects.
How are we different from other treatment centers?
Your
therapy visits will be enjoyable - not unpleasant - because
we focus our efforts on rehabilitation and the treatment of
painful disorders, not sports and fitness training.
Our therapists also have multi-national credentialing and
experience in pain management and manual therapeutic
techniques; when administered in our inter-disciplinary
setting, allow each therapist to employ a greater variety of
treatment options not available elsewhere.
Our therapy programs are unique to this area, which is why
physicians frequently refer patients to our clinics who did
not respond favorably to therapy somewhere else.
What makes therapy with us special? Individual treatment
rooms and curtained areas offer greater privacy. This is
especially important for seniors, female patients, or anyone
else who might feel uncomfortable bending, stretching, or
otherwise completing their rehabilitation in view of other
patients.
We always have a 1:1 patient / therapist ratio. This means
each patient has the full attention of his or her therapist
for the entire length of each session.
